Bottle Slumping – Transform Your Bottles into Unique Art

Our bottle-slumping service transforms your glass bottle into a beautiful, flattened, kiln-fired artwork with practical use. Whether it’s a meaningful wine bottle, a unique beer bottle, or a collectible soda bottle, we can shape it into something you can display, give as a gift, or use in your home.

How It Works

1. Send or Drop Off Your Bottle
Carefully ship or drop off your clean, empty bottle at our studio in Älta, Nacka.

2. Tell Us How You Want It Shaped
Choose from three different styles:
• Fully flattened
• Mold-pressed in a single mold
• Mold-pressed in a double mold using two bottles

Note: For the double mold option, both bottles must be exactly the same. Feel free to contact me to discuss the details.

3. Slumping in a Glass Kiln
Once we receive your bottle, it is cleaned, prepared, and placed in our glass kiln. It is then heated to carefully controlled temperatures so it slowly softens and forms into a flat, elegant shape without losing its original character or labels (when possible—applies only to painted labels).

4. Cooling & Finishing
The newly shaped bottle is slowly cooled in a controlled annealing process for durability, then inspected, cleaned, and prepared for return shipping.

5. Delivered Back to You
We send the finished artwork back to you within 10 days, ready to be used as a serving platter, cheese board, spoon rest, decorative art piece, or given as a personal gift.
