If you’re interested in participating, please contact me to arrange a suitable date and time. I’m happy to offer a private session or a group session for up to 4 people.

If you represent a school or a company, I can also bring the workshop to your location and tailor it for larger groups. Please get in touch for more details.

This workshop is perfect for anyone who loves glass art but has never tried creating something themselves. You’ll learn how to safely cut glass (if you choose to try) and how to design and assemble your own glass artwork. I’ll guide you through every step of the process.

For younger participants, there is no glass cutting involved — they will work with pre-prepared glass pieces, frits, and stringers.

During the workshop, you’ll have access to a selection of colored glass, glass frit (crushed glass), glass rods, and glass confetti. You can also use pre-made glass decorations if they suit your design. If you already have a specific idea in mind, feel free to share it in advance!

Participants aged 16 and over can choose one of the following projects:
• 2 square glass coasters (10 × 10 cm)
• 3 small sun catchers (approx. 10 × 5 cm)
• 1 tealight holder (approx. 15 × 15 cm)
• 1 small plate or bowl (approx. 13 × 13 cm)

Younger participants will create from a prepared theme:
• 1 glass tile (9 × 9 cm)
• 1 small sun catcher (approx. 10 × 5 cm)

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have created your very own unique glass pieces.

After the workshop, I will fire your creations in my kiln. Your finished pieces will be ready for collection within 5 days. I’ll notify you by email or SMS when they’re ready. If you prefer, I can also ship your pieces to you (postage not included).

Additional note:
If you’d like to create extra pieces during the session, that’s absolutely possible. A small additional material cost will apply.

The Instructor
The workshop is led by Elaine Banfield-Eriksson and is mostly conducted in English, as I am still learning Swedish after moving from London. I’m happy to speak Swedish where I can, and written instructions and safety guidelines in Swedish are also provided.

Terms & Conditions
The workshop is paid at least one week in advance. If you cancelled 72hrs before the start of the workshop, you will receive a full refund. Thereafter, you can either reschedule to another date or get 50% of the course fee refunded. If I need to cancel a workshop, you will receive a full refund if you are unable to attend another session. Please note that I will not reimburse any other costs in connection with a cancelled workshop.

Glas och Blandat reserves the right to photograph and use images of your artwork for promotional purposes on social media and other platforms.
